Reviews and Ratings
I must say, my stay at the hotel turned out to be quite a mixed experience. The family room offered at an extra cost was spacious, which was a pleasant surprise, but overall just OK considering the price. The service provided by the staff, including Gretta the animation lady and Stephen the barman, was fantastic and great value for money, even though there were some minor issues in dealing with certain requests. The location was convenient, being close to the Coral Bay Beach and within easy reach of surrounding attractions, despite some drawbacks like the lack of willingness to accommodate certain preferences. The dining experience, however, was a bit disappointing, especially when it came to breakfast options, and could definitely use some improvement. In terms of facilities, there were mixed feelings, although some areas were clearly well-maintained and enjoyable.
The hotel had rooms of decent size with good views, but weather hindered outdoor use. There were some sleepless nights due to noise and lack of supervision. The staff, although friendly, seemed preoccupied, and improvement is needed. The location was convenient with limited umbrellas, and the dining experience was fair, although lacking variety.
The hotel is in the PERFECT location on the strip with numerous shops, bars, and restaurants. The rooms in the 'garden block' at the rear offer good, uninterrupted views over the mountains and distant sea, but some of them are dated and need a lick of paint, not quite meeting 4-star standards. The staff are helpful, especially our cheerful room cleaner, but others seem to be a bit distant. The location is great, very near to shops and restaurants with a nice beach a short walk downhill. Dining had its ups and downs with some good dishes but also some disappointments like the powdered milkshake-like pina colada. Facilities are available for room service, car hire, dry cleaning, and tours/ticket assistance, but some areas emit unpleasant smells.
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. I enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and beautiful views over the mountains and sea from the 'garden block' rooms, but the filthy plug fitting was definitely a downside. However, having games machines added a fun touch to the entertainment options.
The hotel is conveniently located with easy access to the beach and nearby amenities. However, the rooms are in need of updates and lack certain conveniences. The service was a mixed bag with some friendly interactions but also rudeness from staff members. The location offers tranquility and accessibility, but there are some older, uninviting areas on the premises. The dining experience was subpar with average food quality and some unpleasant surprises. Overall, the facilities could use improvement in terms of cleanliness and availability.
The hotel offers a decent stay with some areas for improvement. The rooms, although a bit tired, are cleaned daily and provide a sufficient base. The service is top-notch, with incredibly friendly and committed staff. The location is convenient, close to shops and restaurants, but lacking in cleanliness and maintenance. The dining experience is mediocre, with limited choices and additional expenses for basic items. Overall, a reasonable option for a stay with some minor drawbacks.
My stay at the Crown Resort Horizon Coral Bay was pleasant overall. The rooms were clean with air conditioning, and the hotel is conveniently located near shops and bars. The friendly staff made my experience enjoyable, although there was a slight issue with the room cleanliness. Despite this, we opted to clean the room ourselves and still had a decent stay.
The hotel is a big improvement, located in the 'garden block' at the rear, with good, uninterrupted views over the mountains and distant sea. The rooms were badly organized, like a canteen, with mismatched tables and chairs. The supposed 'dress code' advertised was not enforced, and there were issues with cleanliness and maintenance. The food quality was subpar, and the staff's attitude was rude. On the positive side, the hotel was kept meticulously clean by a wonderful lady, with daily towel changes in essential areas.
The hotel offers clean and comfortable rooms, with friendly staff and a great location near the beach and dining options. However, the dining experience could be improved, and some additional charges for amenities may apply.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. While the rooms were clean and regularly serviced with fresh towels, the noise from the foyer bar made it feel like being in an airport lounge. The service, especially from Stephen and Anastasia at the bar, was pleasant and friendly, adding to the overall value for money. The location was convenient for access to the beach and shops, but the open parking area was a safety concern. The dining experience varied, with some meals decent and others subpar. The facilities offered were average.
